- The Gigaset smart speaker is a DECT telephone and smart speaker in one. Use voice commands such as ´´Alexa, call 0171 123 456´´ to establish a phone call on the connected telephone base. And if your contact list is synchronised with your Amazon account, you can simply say ´´Alexa, call Tom´´. You can also accept or reject incoming calls, end calls and make internal calls with a single command. The only requirements: The Gigaset smart speaker must be connected to a power supply and Alexa as well as to a Wi-Fi network, DECT phone base or DECT-enabled router and the microphone must be switched on.

- Conveniently make calls: Use commands such as ´´Alexa, call Tom´´ to contact people directly from your phone book. If you have multiple contacts with the same name, Alexa will ask which contact you would like to call. In addition, there is no longer a risk of making mistakes when dialling long numbers. When you make a call using a voice command, you can simply say ´´Alexa, call 0171 123 456´´. The Gigaset smart speaker will then initiate the call using the connected telephone base. If a number has not been completely understood, Alexa will repeat the number and you can confirm simply by saying ´´yes´´ or ´´okay´´.

- Answer and end calls: If you have an incoming call, the light ring on your smart speaker flashes green and Alexa announces the call. Use voice command ´´Alexa, answer the call´´ or ´´Alexa, answer´´ to take the call. And if it´s not convenient, say ´´Alexa, don´t take the call´´ to remain undisturbed. You can even hang up without touching the device by saying ´´Alexa, hang up´´ or ´´Alexa, end the call´´.
