Good little antenna for local use, I love its look. Bought to replace the first one that I had bought with the magnetic support, forgotten somewhere when loading the trunk of the car. Not worth the ML145 but it is sufficient for my local use.

Is a standing wave adjustment necessary? How does it work, height adjustments? With a height of 70 cm and a position in the middle of the car roof, the antenna should have enough counterweight in all directions to radiate all around. Is that right? Thanks very much.

The antenna was already tuned upon reception. The VNA gave me a lowest SWR value around 27.300 Mhz but for fun I wanted to focus on 27.5 Mhz. It was very easy by sliding down the strand which is only blocked by a small allen screw. The antenna works well on a standard magnetic base.
