What does a little bug look like under high magnification? What is the internal structure of plants? What lives in a droplet of pond water? With Levenhuk LabZZ M101 Amethyst microscope, children will be able to find answers to these and many other questions that interest their young and curious minds. The kit includes everything needed for very first independent experiments – prepared microscope samples, special tools for microscopic work, and an informative user guide with many interesting experiments. The microscope looks distinctive thanks to its bright translucent amethyst color – it would make a wonderful gift for a young biologist!

Quality optics:
- The microscope is designed especially for children, but, in terms of its optical performance, this model is in no way inferior to many ‘adult’ microscopes. The instrument is equipped with three objective lenses. To change the magnification, you don’t have to pause your work – you can quickly switch objectives using the revolving nosepiece. The unique feature of this model is its sliding two-position eyepiece, which replaces two eyepieces with an increase of 10 and 16-fold–and it is really easy to use. Your kid won’t need to change eyepieces; therefore they won’t get lost. Three objectives and this eyepiece allow you to obtain the following magnification levels: 40x, 64x, 100x, 160x, 400x and 640x.

Studying microscope samples:
- To observe a fly´s wing or onion cells, a thin transparent sample should be placed on the round stage. Convenient clips will securely hold it in place - you won´t lose it out of sight after a careless movement. The light emitted from LED diodes (located below the stage) passes through the sample, creating the magnified image. The adjustable brightness is a very convenient feature – you can make the illumination more intensive for thick and less transparent samples, and do otherwise when observing very thin and very transparent sections.

Comfortable and safe design:
- The microscope body is made of durable plastic – the instrument is very lightweight, yet durable and reliable. To prevent discomfort during observations, the microscope head inclines at 45 degrees. The microscope runs on batteries – it makes the microscope safer to use–and more portable.
