How the emergency call function works:
- When the SOS function (quick-dial key A) is activated, up to four stored emergency telephone numbers are called, three times in succession. - Until someone picks up.
- When the called party picks up, he or she hears a standard emergency call message from the system.
- The called party has the opportunity to speak personally with you by pressing the 5 key.

- Clear light signals: The E560HX large-key telephone signals incoming calls by means of a white flashing light from the top edge of the cordless telephone. - Baby monitor mode: With this function you can very easily monitor rooms. If a certain noise threshold is exceeded, the handset automatically establishes a connection – to an internal handset or (for operation on a CAT-iq router) also to an external telephone number. In the baby monitor mode, incoming telephones calls are signalled only visually on the display – in this case, the ring tone is deactivated.

This means that the telephones are radiation-free in standby mode, even if several handsets are used, as long as the base station and all registered handsets also support ECO DECT. During a telephone conversation, the transmitting power is automatically adjusted to the distance between the base station and the handset. The shorter the distance to the base station, the lower the radiation. For the maximum DECT range, the ECO DECT mode can be deactivated at any time.
