APC Rack Switched Power Distribution Units (PDUs) offer user-customizable electrical control and active monitoring. Remote output level controls make it easy to turn supply on/off to remotely restart equipment and restrict unauthorized use of separate outlets. Supply sequencing delays allow users to establish the order in which to increase or decrease the supply of connected equipment to avoid overloading the circuit. Current measurement facilitates real-time remote monitoring of connected loads with user-defined alarms to warn of potential circuit overloads. Switched Rack PDUs can be accessed, configured, and controlled by users through Web interfaces, Secure SNMP, command line, or Telnet supported by APC centralized management platforms using InfraStruxure Central, Operations, Capacity, and Energy Efficiency. The new AP8000 Series Switched Rack PDUs include true power monitoring, temperature/humidity sensor port, and locking IEC receptacles.
