The MC210CS is a multimedia converter designed to convert 100BASE-LX/LH fiber to 1000Base-T cable or vice versa.
Designed to IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-LX/LH, the MC210CS is used with single-mode optical fiber using the SC connector.
The MC210CS supports shortwave (SX) laser at full wire speed transfer rate.
It works at 1310nm transmitting and receiving data.
Other features of this module are the possibility of use as a stand-alone device (no rack required) or with TP-LINK´s 19” system rack, Auto MDI/MDI-X for the TX port and status LEDs on the panel frontal.
The MC210CS transmits via single-mode optical fiber, increasing the fiber distance up to 15 kilometers.
