The MC110CS is a multimedia converter designed to convert 100BASE-FX fiber to 100Base-TX cable or vice versa.
Designed to IEEE 802.3u 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX standards, the MC110CS is used with single-mode fiber optics using the SC connector.
The MC110CS supports shortwave (SX) laser at a full wire speed transfer rate.
It works at 1310nm transmitting and receiving data.
Other features of this module are the possibility of use as a stand-alone device (without the need for a rack or with TP-LINK´s 19” system rack, Auto MDI/MDI-X for the TX port, Duplex mode autonegotiation on the TX, and status LEDs on the front panel.
The MC110CS transmits using single-mode fiber optics, increasing the fiber distance up to 20 kilometers.
