A convenient tuning scale displays 24 hours of the day, and allows easily set any dynamics and colour temperature of the lighting on any time of a day. It is possible to create an unlimited number of such daily frontlight templates, and give them names. The user can easily switch from one template to another, depending on the plans for a day.

The new e-reader supports MP3 format via micro USB adapter. For auser it means not only convenient opportunity to listen to music while reading, but also enjoying audiobooks. Moreover, Pocketbook InkPad 3 supports Text-to-Speech function, which converts text into spoken voice. Just choose a book and switch on Text-to-Speech and the e-reader will read aloud any text file in any of the supported formats.

A productive Dual Core (2×1 GHz) processor and 1 GB RAM guarantee perfectly smooth paging, provide quick response and stable work of any application. With 8 GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot (up to 32 GB) the e-reader can store user’s digital library of more than 2000 books, which you may read in 17 popular book formats without converting, as well as view any files in JPEG, BMP, PNG or TIFF graphic formats.

PocketBook InkPad 3 initially contains 97 preinstalled free e-books in 14 languages, including 7 in German and 8 in English. The preinstalled Abbyy Lingvo® dictionaries allow to read and translate, using 24 language combinations. A built-in cover sensor allows putting the e-reader into sleep mode by closing the cover, thus using the battery even more effectively.
