Best simple cycling computer

I have bought many of these and all my current 4 bikes have this same Cateye Velo cycling computer. It is the best in the market: reliable, simple to use and durable. I have had some other brands in couple of my bikes sometimes and none of them were as good as Cateye Velo.

I've tried several "cheap" bicycle speedometers and was more or less disappointed each time. Since I park the bike in public, an expensive product is not possible and not necessary for my needs. Actually all I need is a watch and the speedometer. I've actually never needed all the bells and whistles. Very nice: the display has a good viewing angle, so you can read the numbers really well both while sitting and standing up. Unfortunately the speedometer has no light, but I already knew that. The Velo 7 looks very solidly built and will hopefully last a long time. The cable is a little too short so I couldn't wrap it around the brake cable, but running it parallel with insulating tape worked well.

Very good purchase needs to be tested but I have already used it on other occasions and for what is really needed it is more than enough I recommend it the price is very competitive

If you are looking for a speedometer that gives you the speed, the km that you get and looks good, this is yours. Nothing to get lost by useless windows of calories burned co2, 2 bikes and things like that; that in the end it costs a triumph to understand each other with so much useless information.

This is a great Speedometer for use on golf carts as well as bikes. I've installed over 800 of them on carts here in the Central Florida retirement community where I live. Very accurate and reliable. I started installing Cateye Velo 7's five years ago and have not received any failure reports.

Last year, my cycling computer Velo Cateye 7 worked fully, but this year only time is visible. I want to be able to see speed and how far I have driven! Transmitter and sensor are as close to each other as possible ..... Grateful for answers! Regards Anette

Well, the good thing about this device is that it´s like the mechanism of a pacifier, it´s so simple. if it changes your function AND IT IS NOT THE BATTERY, it is broken. Change the battery for a year if you give it tute is a long time.
